Character Study Series - Isaac

On this week’s episode of Finding the Messiah Podcast, Megan and Eliseo continue the series of character studies on individuals spoken about in the Bible. Join us as we talk about the life of Abraham and Sarah’s son, Isaac. During our conversation we discuss the birth of Isaac and the significance of this promise being fulfilled by God. We also talk about the similarities and differences between Isaac’s almost sacrifice and Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. 

The Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did to Sarah as he had promised. And Sarah conceived and bore Abraham a son in his old age at the time of which God had spoken to him. Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore him, Isaac. Genesis 21:1-3 ESV
